The
FA Charter Standard Clubs programme, supported by FA Community Partner
McDonald's, was launched in February 2001 with the aim of setting
standards of coaching, administration and child protection for
clubs working with young people. The programme is aimed at boys and girls under 16 and will help
children and parents find in their local area a club that meets FA
standards of coaching, administration, development and child protection. Youth Clubs need to demonstrate :-
However maybe the most important benefit is the recognition, from The FA, that the club provides a safe, quality environment for its young players. |
